Legacy of Suns

Oskar is a 17 year old boy who’s lived a very sheltered life because of his widowed mother, Laura. His father died in a war when Oskar was a young child, so Oskar has no memories of him.

Oskar grew up in the Port town Caer Silva. Caer Silva is the capitol of the Borhulm Empire, and because of it’s geographical location and strategical importance, it is a bustling city. Because of how busy the streets are and how many knights patrol the city, his mother only let him leave the house when he was accompanied by a Holy Priest of the True Sun.

It was through this mandatory assignment that Oskar met his childhood best friend, Faith, who’s father is a Holy Priest. Faith and Oskar both accompanied Faith’s father on church activities, whether it be consecrating homes, spreading the word of the True Sun, or doing acts of service for the citizens of Caer Silva.

All of this wasn’t quite enough for Oskar. Everyday he would look out his window and see the vast open ocean, hoping to someday see what lies past it…

It’s this sense of hope and wonder that pushes Oskar forward on his journey, as he must rely on these strengths when his lack of training in any combat or magic skill puts him at a severe risk on the battlefield. Will he have the strength and resolve to rise to the challenge, or will he fail, blaming it on factors he couldn’t control?
