Faith is a young girl who grew up in a very religious family. Her father was a Holy Priest for the Church of the True Sun. She’s lived in Caer Silva her whole life, but has travelled semi frequently with her family and father to other parts of the world. However, most of her youth was spent in a Church approved school or going through the city on church errands with her father.
These travels were how she met Oskar, a young boy who had a very protective mother. Because he was the only thing in her life that wasn’t entirely church controlled, she grew very close to him, often wondering what his life was like without such a strong church influence.
When she wasn’t travelling or representing the Church of the True Sun, she was studying. Every day she was reminded by her parents that their family had been prominent members of the church for generations. She was the oldest of the children, and she often felt the pressure of having to be the perfect rolemodel for her siblings.
This pressure from her parents as well as the pressure she put on herself forced her to spend almost all of her time preparing to become a priest. While not the most exciting of tasks, it did come with it’s perks. Learning incantations and spells in her studies to heal others, as well as diving into the layers and meaning of the Prophecy and what it meant for the world.
Did she do all of this because she wanted to, or because she felt she had no other choice? Will her faith in the church help her on the journey ahead, or will she cast it aside when the opportunity arises?
